What types of renal agenesis are there?
The renal agenesis can be unilateral, with one kidney not being developed, or bilateral, with no kidneys or tiny kidneys being developed.
Unilateral and bilateral renal agenesis have very different clinical manifestations, whereas unilateral renal agenesis is more favorable.
